Bitcoin takes advantage of the Unspent Transaction Output (UTXO) design, corresponding to transactions with physical dollars in which each specific bill would need for being traced. On other hand, Ethereum takes advantage of an account model, akin to some checking account which has a managing equilibrium, that is far more centralized than Bitcoin.
